A PSA to everyone who has an opinion about my parenting choices:

I realize you have children too and so that automatically makes you an “expert”. I get it. You do everything better than me. Your kids are perfect, and your way is the right way. But here’s the thing…

I’m not you and my kids are not yours.

Stop telling me I need to take the pacifier away.
Stop telling me that bringing them in my bed in the middle of the night when they wake up and I don’t have the energy to rock them back to sleep, is not ok.
Stop telling me that I CREATED picky eaters.
Stop telling me that there’s an age all kids should be potty trained by.
Stop telling me I am not strict enough.
Stop telling me I give them too much screen time.
Stop telling me that my routine is too flexible.

As a matter of fact, unless I ask for your opinion, don’t offer it. My kids, my choices. You should parent your kids however you would like and let others do the same. There’s no one way to do something and motherhood is a personal journey that we all get to do our way. Maybe try offering support to other mothers instead of passing judgment?

Believe it or not, there’s a method to my madness and we are A-ok without your commentary.

You do you, boo. I got this.
